Place 8–10 dried butterfly pea flowers in a cup or teapot.
Step two
Pour water
Add hot water (not boiling — around 85°C). Steep for 5 minutes until deep blue.
Step three
The magic
Add a squeeze of lemon or lime and watch it transform to violet. Sweeten with raw honey if desired.

The founder
About Jan
Soul Defence was founded by Jan Delahunty — a breathwork facilitator, Reiki practitioner, and natural formulator based in Devon, UK.
Jan's path into natural wellness came through personal experience — discovering the profound effect that breathwork, somatic practice and clean nutrition had on her own health, energy and sense of self.
She trained in Rishikesh, India — completing breathwork teacher training and deepening her Reiki practice in one of the world's most sacred wellness destinations. She has since spent time studying herbal medicine, nutrition and the ancient healing traditions of Southeast Asia.
Every Soul Defence product is made by Jan herself in small batches — formulated with care, intention and a deep respect for the intelligence of natural ingredients.
